Guest Speaker: Alia Bartlett
Topic: Dancing with your Heart
Presentation followed by Q & A
Alia Bartlett, MSN, RN-BC, PCCN, CYT, lives a life guided by a deep, enduring passion for dance, music, and healing. For Alia, expression flows straight from the heart—whether she is immersed in the rich heritage and storytelling of Bharata Natyam, practicing yoga or exploring the world through dance, song and instruments. Alia started learning Bharatanatyam from Guru Malathi Iyengar in 1997, presented her solo dance debut in 2002, and has since performed and toured as a Rangoli Dance Company member extensively.
This profound connection between movement, rhythm, and well-being naturally shaped her professional journey. For almost 20 years, Alia has served as a Registered Cardiology Nurse, seamlessly integrating scientific inquiry with the healing arts to support others to live their healthiest lives. As a mother, yoga teacher, and devoted artist, Alia brings her whole heart to both her nursing practice and the stage, celebrating the spiritual and transformative power of dance.
